| The kestrel is a small falconif still very present in all the territory of Central Italy. But despite all this small raptor it is rarefied in recent years due to the heavy use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides and fertilizers that have decimated the population of insects and small reptiles that feed. The location of the photograph is the classic ambush on an elevated perch to spot their prey and then capture with dizzying dives. |
